Fresh from a long term stay in the U.S., Aussie Sarah Jane has returned, undertaking high profile campaigns for Toyota and Volkswagen. With such contracts under her belt, it’s of little wonder that she’s quickly carving a reputation for being the next ‘it’ girl.

ASM: Ok, so let’s start with a little about yourself.

SJ: [thinks] Hmm… well I am Australian born but lived in the ‘States for about 10 years in Newport Beach, which is in Beverly Hills, LA.

ASM: How did you end you there? 

SJ: Well it was a whole business trip for the family at first – but then it just happened that we ended up staying there for quite some time. I loved it, it was one of the best memories I have. Especially regarding the shopping! I’m talking solely about Rodeo Drive either; both Melrose and Santa Monica was the best too [laughs].

ASM: Now you were pretty popular at school as well, you did the whole Prom thing right?

SJ: [Big smiles] Yep, I was there from Year 4 to 10 so it was long enough for me to do the whole Prom thing twice.

ASM: But weren’t you a bit young?

SJ: [Cheeky] Well, I kind of always hung around the older guys and naturally, you know, went out with them; I did the whole going out with the grid iron quarter-back and the captain of the baseball team [smiles]

ASM: Cool, so you were the All-American girl huh? Except you’re Aussie...

SJ: Pretty much [laughs loud]
